Utah Bound...

Just wanted to do a quick update before I leave for Utah. I literally JUST got finished preparing for this trip and I have to be at the airport in an hour. Nice.

    Hopefully I remembered everything...but other than that, here are some pictures of the little panels that I've been working on the past two days (oh by the way...im a straight up procrastinator) that im going to bring with me to Utah, and hopefully they will sell.

 
Although it might not seem like much, my teacher took a look at these and said that they were dope and that he wanted to buy them. As small and as insignificant as that may seem to most...that was the biggest compliment that I could ever recieve about my art.

Good bye and Hello..

          
          Time to leave the bay! But not for long, just long enough to attend the Salt Lake City tattoo convention! Pretty excited about this one, considering it is going to be my first out of state convention. Baby steps folks...Baby steps. Although it might not seem like much, preparing for this trip has definately put me in a new state of gratitude. As im updating my portfolio, making bussiness cards, and painting panals to get ready for this trip, I can't help but to stop and think to myself "i can't believe im actually doing this". The feeling of being able to have that thought brush through my mind seems so artifical but at the same time fucken awesome. And Im thankful.

            I had a conversation with one of my friends today talking about something along the lines of being able to love what you do...or something like that. Well whatever the topic was, it made me dig through the boxes where I keep all my old drawings...some were good...a lot were pretty bad..but all in all made me appreciate my growth. Don't forget your worth and your capabilities. I've learned to keep all my drawings, I guess because it inspires me to keep going.

Got another art show coming up this Friday the 11th at the Cukui Clothing store. Good Art Good Folks and Good Music.

New Blog Fresh Year

        First of all, I will begin this by saying that I am bad at keeping up with anything that involves me having to regularly update things. Remembering to breathe is already a difficult task in itself, so for me having to actually sit my ass down to think of what to post or even do something as simple as click a button becomes thee biggest job for me...

BUT...

       I tattoo, and I love it. It has turned into one of my biggest passions. And although I do not have the biggest clientele, I would like to at least share what makes me happy and what i have engulfed my life in. I am definately a baby when it comes to the game, and in fact, very proud to say that. I am surrounded with many great teachers, one being my main mentor, Orly Locquiao, and becuase of this, I stay hungry. Willing and ready to learn. And ready to share my growth. LETS DOOO THISSS!!
